Whose bed?

WHOSE BED IS IT???

I am five foot, two inches tall.. I have a queen sized bed...

I now sleep more or less sideways if I don't get to get in bed FIRST...

Really, can't he figure out that he could have a whole SIDE of the bed if he'd just move over?

Now, I'm all for relegating the dog to the foot of the bed... And do realize that some of my friends would NEVER sleep with a dog ever (and some don't feel dog's are indoor pets)

But, how can you not love to smoosh your toes all over a face like that?

It seems to me there is plenty of room for Bu and mom if mom wasn't so particular about her orientation. You old snuggle muffin you.

Lucy, my Great Dane used to do the same thing. She is pretty much banished to the couch at night now. She is okay with it since it s pretty big and comfy

Lucy Goose - my sweet 2.5 yr old Great Dane - gives me just as much consideration on the bed. Amazing how I just don't care. I would seriously let her have the world if she asked. There's nothing she does that can't make me laugh. There's nothing she is that isn't pure joy. Unfortunately, Lucy Goose was recently diagnosed with Wobbler's, just like your Bu. I appreciate your blog and others like it for making me feel better. I'm so scared for my girl...and daily breakdown moments are becoming common. (of course, she doesn't care - she's oblivious of her condition) I'm going to look into Dr. Durkes. I am a chiropractor and acupuncturist for the human variety, so have faith in the gold beads. So far, all the adjustments, laser therapies, essential oils and nutrition treatments I've been doing are not cutting it. Her prednisone "maintenance" dosage appears to be 2 per day which will do yike-yuck to her system over time. I can't tell you how much better I feel reading everyone's blogs that have dealt with similar and still have their friends hogging the bed. I hope I have MANY more years to squeeze into a corner of my mattress! I will gladly give it all. Take care. Be well. - Farrell and Lucy Goose
