Birthday Boy Bugenhagen!

YES!!! It is true, my boy is officially ONE year old today! He was at the daycare today for awhile and he took some flowers into them since they take such good care of him when he goes to play! Then, I bought him the "bad" junk-for-dawgs-food meaty bones -- he has a WHOLE box that he can work on. And then tonight, he will get a really wonderful treat (so will I!) .... a bullystick!!!!!!!! He stays quiet and chewing and very content for quite some time when he gets a bullystick.
That was his "birthday present" -- I bought a box FILLED with 50 foot long bullysticks for him. They are in a box in the closet. They are a real treat that he loves. Whoooooohooooo!!!
This is Bu eating a meatybone on the couch. I need to vaccuum. I need a new couch!
This is the Bu-dawg looking pathetic hoping that I will give him MORE treats. Truly, he could care less about the "hat" or the bandana...the pathetic look is for food.

It was a quiet birthday -- but he did have his godmom call him up and sing to him today! We are in the process of getting ready to move in a few weeks. (That's his real present...a backyard with a fence -- course, it isn't like the HUGE field here we can play in but...) Thanks to all of his blogging friends who've cheered us on -- gave us advice -- and who introduced bullysticks to us!

Much much love to Lori his breeder and to his "birthparents" HP and Angel. We've had fun growing close this year. I have the biggest snuggle dog ever!

Grace2you all,
jen.

More Pictures of the Day!

Ears flapping in the wind!
Standing by the house...

Snow! Yum!

Snow Day Play

According to Bu, it is about time! We spent about 20-30 minutes tromping around the snow today. It was a "warm" 25 degrees when I went out -- however, the wind was HORRIBLE. But, Bu was in heaven! He really does miss getting to play in the yard with me. I am such a wimp. I don't like it when it is cold!

But, he got a good hard workout playing chase with his favorite ball -- watching a bunny bounce on top of the snow (Bu and I both sink at least up to our knees or hips!) and just running hard! I, on the other hand, took pictures of Bu doing all that workout!

RUN!!! GO!!!! WHEE!!!

POUNCE!!!!
